News: Black Works Studio Announces Killer Bee Connecticut

Black Works Studio is next up today with news of a new Killer Bee. This looks like an interesting little cigar. I thing I smoked my first Killer Bee back in September!

Black Works Studio (BLK WKS) is pleased to announce the release of Killer Bee Connecticut: Hand crafted in Esteli, Nicaragua at Fabrica Oveja Negra.

KB CONNECTICUT will be available at select BLK WKS retailers for a limited time. This is a small batch release that was offered to retailers who attended IPCPR 2018.

“The Killer Bee Connecticut is a cigar that I blended with the original Killer Bee, so I’m very excited to finally have it released as an addition to the Killer Bee line and the BLK WKS portfolio. With similar profiles to the Killer Bee, it may not be what you expect from a typical Connecticut cigar. The Connecticut wrapper gives an added creaminess and changes up the spice components quite a bit,” said James Brown, creator of BLK WKS and partner at Fabrica Oveja Negra.

KB Connecticut will be shipping in limited quantities this week.

News: Black Works Studio Ships Second Release of Boondock Saint

Here’s some Monday news from the folks at Black Works Studio. I really liked this cigar, the PA Broadleaf wrapper on this, along with Pennsylvania and Connecticut Broadleaf in the filler is delicious and unique!:

Black Works Studio (BLK WKS) is pleased to announce the shipment of the BOONDOCK SAINT to select retailers this
week. This is the second annual release of Boondock Saint, hand crafted in Esteli, Nicaragaua at Fabrica Oveja Negra.
“The Boondock Saint is a perfect example of a balanced cigar. The profile is rich, complex and bold, with tons of subtle flavors. The cigar is both strong and refined, with a very elegant finish. The Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper combined with the Connecticut Broadleaf and Nicaraguan filler create flavors of anise, clove, dark fruits, bitter cocoa and earth. This blend highlights the many complexities in the broadleaf and Nicaraguan tobaccos used,” said James Brown, creator of BLK WKS and partner at Fabrica Oveja
Negra.

BOONDOCK SAINT will be available in limited quantities at select BLK WKS retailers.

News: Black Works Studio Announces Yellow Jacket for IPCPR 2018

Here’s some news for you Black Works Studio Fans. I’m admittedly behind on sampling these boutique lines, but I’m not one to chase down stuff like this anyway. If you are, and your local shop doesn’t carry them, send them to visit James at his booth at the IPCPR show, or have them get im touch with their Boutiques Unified rep!

Hand crafted in Esteli, Nicaragua at Fabrica Oveja Negra., YELLOW JACKET will be available at select BLK WKS retailers for a limited time. This is a small batch release offered on a first come first serve basis to retailers attending IPCPR 2018.

“We wanted to release a cigar exclusively for IPCPR attendees as a way of showing appreciation for the retailers who come to support our brands and the show. We have been saving this release for a special occasion and with the decline in retailer attendance, we thought the time is now. The Yellow Jacket is a cigar that I blended with the original Killer Bee, so I’m very excited to finally have it released as a great addition to the Killer Bee line and the BLK WKS portfolio. Here’s a news item from the folks at Fabrica Oveja Negra! Hopefully everything is going OK down in Esteli, news is spotty at best, last I heard some supply shipments recently got through.

Black Works Studio (BLK WKS) is pleased to announce the release of SINDUSTRY: Hand crafted in Esteli, Nicaragaua at Fabrica Oveja Negra.

SINDUSTRY will be available at select BLK WKS retailers for a limited time. This is the highly anticipated 2nd annual release of Sindustry.

“This vintage of Sindustry is the perfect balance between strength and flavor. It’s big and rich with a wide spectrum of flavors. Sindustry is one of my personal favorite cigars and I’m very excited to about this release hitting retailers,” said James Brown, creator of BLK WKS and partner at Fabrica Oveja Negra.

The Flor de Cesar was first produced by Abe Flores in 2008 then again in 2010 by Rocky Patel.
