News: Black Label Trading Co. Announces Nocturne and Porcelain

Here’s some Wednesday news from Black Label Trading Co. I was just at one of my many local Cigar Cigars shops yesterday and learned that they are carrying BLTC now, so I’ll have to up my game a bit and pick up a few here and there now that they will be available close by.

 

Black Label Trading Company (BLTC) is pleased to announce they are shipping DELIVERANCE NOCTURNE and PORCELAIN to select retailers this month. The Nocturne and Porcelain are handcrafted at BLTC’s own factory; Fabrica Oveja Negra in Esteli, .

 

“This is the 4th release of Deliverance Nocturne. The Nocturne highlights everything I love about PA Broadleaf, the rich, complex and bold earthiness of the wrapper highlights the unique blend of this cigar. We are also releasing the Deliverance Porcelain featuring a Connecticut wrapper. The Porcelain has a different profile from what you might expect. This is a Connecticut that is geared towards our consumers,” says James Brown, creator of BLTC and partner at Fabrica Oveja Negra.

 

DELIVERANCE NOCTURNE features a Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper with Pennsylvania Ligero and Nicaraguan filler & binder.

News: Black Label Trading Co. Announces Annual Release of Santa Muerte

Just in time for the “day of the dead”, here’s another cigar from BLTC that I look forward to smoking. What’s not to like about Broadleaf AND San Andrés! Two great tastes that (can) taste great together (when done right!).  

 

Black Label Trading Company is pleased to announce the annual release of Santa Muerte: Hand crafted in Esteli, Nicaragua at BLTC’s own factory, Fabrica Oveja Negra. “We have gone out of the box with Santa Muerte. Although it doesn’t pack the punch of most of our LE’s, Santa Muerte is an extremely complex smoke. It features Broadleaf, San Andres, Dominican and Nicaraguan tobacco among the 6 filler tobaccos. You experience layer upon layer of coffee, malt, spice and cocoa. As the name suggests, there is a Day of the Dead tribute to honor those we have lost,” said James Brown, creator of BLTC and partner at Fabrica Oveja Negra.

SANTA MUERTE is shipping to select retailers this week.

News: Black Label Trading Co. Anniversary Release

Here’s some news from Black Label Trading Co.  I really need to try that Morphine cigar one of these days…congrats on five years! 

 

Black Label Trading Company is pleased to announce its Fifth Anniversary release of MORPHINE: Hand crafted in Esteli, Nicaragua at BLTC’s own factory, Fabrica Oveja Negra.

This release commemorates the Fifth Anniversary of both the company and its first limited release, Morphine.  To celebrate the Anniversary the Lancero features a barber pole with Ecuador Maduro and San Andres Wrappers.  The Short Robusto comes in Box Press and the original release Corona vitola returns.

MORPHINE cigars will be available in limited quantities at select BLTC retailers beginning this week.

More news from our friends at Oveja Negra. I really need do smoke more of their cigars! I really like the ones I smoke, I just don’t see them enough places.  I must make a conscious effort to grab a few next time I find myself at the Wooden Indian, I know they have some there. Happy Birthday to the guy who sells BLTC in the mid-west, my buddy Calvin Woods! 

 

Black Label Trading Company is pleased to announce the release of Ligero Hawaiias, an R. Field Wine Co. exclusive; hand crafted at Fabrica Oveja Negra in Esteli, Nicaragua.

News: Leaf by James Announced by Black Label Trading Co.

Here’s some exciting news from Black Label Trading Co. and Island Jim, I look forward to smoking this one quite a bit!

 

James Brown, owner of Fabrica Oveja Negra and Black Label Trading Co., is pleased to announce a collaboration with Jim “Island Jim” Robinson on the Leaf by James. This cigar is hand crafted in Esteli, Nicaragua at Fabrica Oveja Negra.


A Pre-Launch event will be taking place June 8, 2018 at Jim Robinson’s iconic shop Leaf and Bean, 2200 Penn Ave., Pittsburgh, PA. The national release is scheduled later this summer.

“I’m excited to be working with Jim on this new Leaf project. I think the bold style of Oveja Negra is a great addition to the portfolio,” said James Brown, of Fabrica Oveja Negra.


Leaf by James will be available at Leaf and Bean with a national release scheduled later this summer.
