Welcome back for yet another day of cigar giveaways! I hope you aren’t tired of this yet! There’s a ton more to come. I would like to have smoked an Arandoza Blue Label yesterday, but I’m out, and my plan to run to the one of the only stores that have them 9 miles away fell through as I got the lights up on the house and then my daughter and he kids came over. Another time, I suppose. I have some bad news for Lloyd Ladrillono, he’s no longer eligible to win anything in the 12SDoCG because he winner of the box of Arandoza Blue Label cigars! Please confirm your address so I can try to get these shipped out to you next weekend! Thank you to Robert Arango at Arandoza Cigars for providing yesterday’s gift!
Joya de Nicaragua
The present for Day 5 is from Joya de Nicaragua, the oldest cigar factory in Nicaragua. This year they came out with the Joya Red, a medium bodied cigar that’s loaded with flavor. I’ve had the pleasure of smokeing quite a few of these since last June, and they are really quite good. Today’s present is a box of 20 Joya Red Cañonazo (5½ x 54). Juan Martinez, the President of Joya de Nicaragua, was the mastermind behind asking for consumer feedback in this contest. He would like to know two things: in one sentence tell us what comes to mind when you think of Joya de Nicaragua and what comes to mind when you think of Nicaraguan Tobacco. Let’s see what you can come up with! Thank you to Juan at Joya de Nicaragua and John Brook at Drew Estate (the US distributor of JdN) for making today’s present possible!
Rules
All you have to do to enter is to leave a comment on that day’s post and if you like, in one sentence tell us what comes to mind when you think of Joya de Nicaragua and what comes to mind when you think of Nicaraguan Tobacco. It’s not a condition to win, but I’d like for the folks who make this all possible to come away with some consumer feedback. Also, be sure to visit the links for each item. Comments on Facebook, Twitter, or anywhere else will not count, but feel free to spread the word!
Until tomorrow,
CigarCraig
Yo Santi Clause!
I will smoke a Joya everyday if i had the money 2
Hmm.. I don’t ever remember ever seeing these anywhere..
Happy Holidays, thanks fir doing such an awesome give away!
They sound a good cigar. Love to try one.
I’ve never had a JdN cigar, but my impression of them is full-bodied and strong. When I think of Nicaraguan tobacco, I think rich and full.
Love me some Joya’s
Great medium bodied stick…smoothest JdN! Thanks so much Craig!
Never had an Joya, sounds good to me, send them my way!
One of my goto cigars, yum. Also one I like to give to newer cigar folks to try.
While I mnow I can’t win again this year, just wanted to say that I enjoy JdN’s a lot. I enjoy variety, & yet I still have a JdN stick about 1 of 5 cigars I smoke. Similar to Dan Cooley, when I think about the wide range of cugars in my humidor & coolidor, more than half have significant if not majority of Nicaraguan tobaccos. I really enjoy the spice & kick & flavors of Nicaraguan leaves. So, thanks to Craig & all the folks at JdN & Drew Estate for bringing is such quality sticks!!
Great sticks from JdN and Nicaraguan tobacco has really changed the industry.
I liked the Antano by JDN. I’ve had a couple of their other stogies but their collab with Drew Estate is fantastic.
Awesome stick. Happy holidays everyone.
I would love to try. Red for Christmas.
That box of Red cigars would look so good under my tree. I am an absolute die hard fan of Joya, I hope the DE sale does not affect them in any negative way.
Strong cigars and spicey tobacco. Thanks and Happy Holidays!
What I think of JdN is bold and very favorable cigars. Nicaraguan tobacco I think of spicy and favorable. My go to cigars are 1970 Lanceros and Dark Corojos for my breakfast cigar with coffee and rum.
For me a JdN has great depth of flavor as well as being medium to full body. As for Nicaraguan tobacco, it is the tobacco I prefer because of the earthyness and pepper notes it has to give the cigar it is in better depth of flavor.
This is a cigar that I have smoked, I really enjoyed this cigar. I really will enjoy this prize! Thanks Craig and Joya de Nicaraguan.
Looking forward to lighting one of those up!
Been faaar too long since I’ve smoked a nice stogie
That box is bright! I want one…
I would love to try the joya red cigar!! Nicaragua:)
